Sunny weather and a course in fabulous condition ensured the day was enjoyed by all competitors. Hole in one for City’s Lynn Jacobs in the first Shield match of the season away at Goswick. Congratulations Lynn. Just like busses, you wait for one for ages then two come along at once! Congratulations also to our own Charlotte Naughton who aced the 16th at Arbroath Golf Links in the Scottish Girls Championship.
A great night was had by all at the fun beetle drive with funds raised for Julie’s charity. And a thank you to Audrey for knitting Easter chicks!

 It is with deep regret that we report the recent sad passing, following a short illness, of County Past Captain, County Past President and Bedlingtonshire Golf Club member Carol Ramsay. On Sunday I completed the GNR together with my daughter and her partner, raising funds for the fabulous Maggie’s – my Captain’s charity.
Held at Morpeth Golf Club.
Congratulations to Matfen Hall in their victory over Arcot Hall. A well fought and friendly match in tough conditions. Well done to all for making it to the finals.
