It is with deep regret that we report the recent sad passing, following a short illness, of County Past Captain, County Past President and Bedlingtonshire Golf Club member Carol Ramsay.
Carol was originally a member of the County Exec and in 2002 became ELGA Handicap Advisor, assisting ladies with the changeover to the CONGU system.

Sunny weather and a course in fabulous condition ensured the day was enjoyed by all competitors. Hole in one for City’s Lynn Jacobs in the first Shield match of the season away at Goswick. Congratulations Lynn. Just like busses, you wait for one for ages then two come along at once! Congratulations also to our own Charlotte Naughton who aced the 16th at Arbroath Golf Links in the Scottish Girls Championship.

A great night was had by all at the fun beetle drive with funds raised for Julie’s charity. And a thank you to Audrey for knitting Easter chicks!
