FORMAT
Each Club is invited to enter a team of 5 players in the Nora Percy matchplay knockout.
This event is for golfers with Handicap Index : 30 upwards
The teams are drawn at random and may be drawn to play at home or at the away course. Matches are played off handicap and the winning team will progress to the next round.
The final is played on a neutral course and each team may have caddies for the final only.
The Norah Percy Salver was presented in 1965 by Mrs Norah Percy of City of Newcastle who was County Captain in 1951
The Mary Wilkinson Tray, awarded to the losing finalists, was presented by Mary Wilkinson of Gosforth Park who was County Captain in 1953 & 1955 and County President from 1969 – 1971.
