Open to all lady and junior girl (under 18 on 1st January) members of the Association with a maximum Handicap index of 19.9
Day 1.
36 holes stroke play.
Day 2 afternoon.
Quarter final matchplay for 8 remaining players, again with roving referees.
Day 3 morning.
Semi final matchplay for the last 4 players with referees for each match.
Day 3 afternoon.

Championship Bowl was bought by the Association in 1921 for £25 (over £1,000 in today’s money).
Gover Salver was bought with a £45 donation from Miss S Glover in 1972 who was the first County Captain in 1920 (value approx £600 today).
Marion Marshall Goblets were presented by Mrs Marion Marshall of Arcot Hall GC in 1989 – Handicap Adviser 1978-1980 & County Secretary 1981-988.
Rita Rennie Trophy was presented by Mrs Rita Rennie of Gosforth GC in 1989 – County Captain 1974-1975 & President 1988-1990.
Lockhart Trophy was presented in 1924 by Mrs Lockhart of Hexham GC – Vice President & County Captain 1930-1933 and 1939.
Connie Burton Salver was presented in 1987 by Mrs Connie Burton – County Captain 1970-1971 & President 1985-1987.
Richmond Trophy was presented in 1979 by Mrs Jessie Richmond of Gosforth Park Ladies GC – County Captain 1958 & President 1975-1978.
Championship Shield was bought in 1921 by a group of ladies on the Committee for £28 (nearly £1,400 in today’s money!)
