Not even howling wind and driving rain could dampen the spirits of the 9 Hole Salver competitors at Wooler Golf Club. This is a 9 Hole Team Competition with teams of two players who may be from any affiliated club. Each team member plays 9 hole Stableford. Their individual scores are then combined to give a team result.
After battling the elements the players enjoyed an excellent cup of tea and lovely cake supplied by the ladies of Wooler Golf Club.
The winners were Kathryn Brunton and Judith Tulip from Alnmouth (Foxton) Golf Club.
